JQH Arena has some of the hottest concerts, shows, and special events around. But to make sure it’s fun for everyone, there are a few rules that you have to follow.

Make sure you read the rules below so you know what to expect. They will help you avoid any issues during your visit to the venue. Please note that some events may have slightly different rules and management reserves the right to modify their rules for each event.

Accessibility Policy

JQH Arena is fully accessible for patrons with disabilities. There are accessible seating options in both the lower and upper bowl of the arena, and tickets for these areas may be purchased based on availability.

Elevators are located at the midpoint of both the Bancorp South Concourse (North side) and the Mercy Concourse (South side); the elevators are reserved for patrons with disabilities or those who have difficulty using stairs.

Patrons who are hard of hearing may obtain an assistive listening device at the JQH Arena Guest Service Center located to the left of the main entrance.

Accessible parking is located in lot 25 located at 741 S. Clay Street and is available to anyone with a disabled placard or license plate.

Accessible seat relocation

In the event a guest requires accessible seating for a particular game or event, accommodations can be made prior to the game based on availability. Contact the Missouri State University Ticket Office at 417-836-7678 to help make accommodations.

Camera Policy

Small still cameras are permitted for athletic events, however, large professional cameras with mono- or tripods are not allowed into the facility. This policy will vary for non-athletic events and will be determined by the event promoter.

Videotaping of any form is not allowed in the arena during events.

Lost and Found Policy

During an event, Lost & Found is kept in the Guest Service Center located to the left of the main entrance. Once the event is over, all items are kept in the JQH Arena box office. If you are inquiring about a lost item after an event, please call the box office at 417-836-7678.

Please be sure to leave your full contact information including name, address, and phone number as well as a detailed description of your lost item.

These could be subject to change per the artist request. The venue reserves the right to adjust the items on this list.

JQH Arena reserves the right to search anyone, and their belongings, who enter the premises.

Re-Entry/Entry Policy

Gates open 1 hour prior to the start of most special events and Missouri State athletic events for general ticket holders. Suite holders and PRIME Overtime Club members may enter the facility 1.50 hours before the start of the athletic event. During athletic events, patrons may enter the facility through the Main Entrance (southeast entrance) or through entrances located on the northwest and southwest corners. During non-University athletic events, the facility uses only the southeast entrance into the facility. 

The northeast exit will serve as the Smoker’s gate. Those wishing to step outside and smoke may only do so through this exit. Anyone using this area will receive a hand stamp and must re-enter through the northeast door. 

Patrons may exit the facility permanently at any of the four exits.

Smoking Rules

JQH Arena is a smoke-free facility. The northeast exit will serve as the Smokers gate, those wishing to stop outside and smoke may only do so through this exit. Anyone using this area will be required to receive a hand stamp and must re-enter only through the northeast exit.
